Weekly markets remain open - market hours on Christmas and New Year's Eve

While large parts of the retail sector have to close during the hard lockdown, the Kleinmarkthalle and the weekly markets in Frankfurt may remain open. But there are some changes here, too - due to the holidays:

For example, the Weekly Market Bockenheim and the Producer's Market Konstablerwache will also be open on Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24.

The Weekly Markets Höchst, Sachsenhausen and the Schillermarkt will be brought forward from 25 to 24. December brought forward, as well as the Weekly Markets Riedberg and Oberrad from December 26 to 24.

All markets are open until 1 pm.

The Weekly Markets Bonames, Campus Westend, Gallus, Heddernheim, Nordend, Bornheim and Niederrad, which took place on 24., 25 or 26 December are cancelled.

On New Year's Eve, Thursday, 31. December, the Weekly Market Bockenheim and the Producers' Market Konstablerwache will open until 2 p.m.

The Weekly Markets Höchst and Sachsenhausen will be moved up from January 1 to December 31. The weekly market Höchst will be open until 1 p.m. and the weekly market Sachsenhausen until 2 p.m.

The weekly markets Bonames, Campus Westend, Gallus, Heddernheim, Schillermarkt and Nordend, which took place on 31. December or on 1 January are cancelled.

Please note: All markets will have limited offerings on December 24 and 31, if applicable.

The Small Market Hall will be open for visitation on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve with modified hours: On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, Kleinmarkthalle will be open until 1 p.m., on Dec. 24 from 6 a.m., and on Dec. 31 from 7 a.m. On 23.12. the Kleinmarkthalle is open from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
