Who will make Frankfurt's Christmas tree shine?

TCF and KuS give away important role at the opening of the Christmas market

(kus) Switching on the lights at home - everyday. Turning on the Christmas lights at home - more exciting. Making the Frankfurt Christmas tree shine - unique!

Together with the Tourismus+Congress GmbH (TCF), the Office of Communications and City Marketing (KuS) is looking for the Frankfurter who will be at the opening of the Frankfurt Christmas Market on 23. November at the opening of the Frankfurt Christmas Market will turn on the 5,600 lights of the more than 30-meter-high Tyrolean spruce on the Römerberg, eliciting "Ahs!" and "Ohs!" from visitors.

"Switching on the lighting of Frankfurt's Christmas tree is always a very special moment during Advent, even for me as Lord Mayor. I am delighted to be taking on this task together with a citizen for the first time this year," says Peter Feldmann. He will open the Frankfurt Christmas Market together with Hannes Neuhauser, Mayor of the municipality of Brandenburg in the Skijuwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau holiday region, TCF Managing Director Thomas Feda and the winner on 23 November at 5.10 p.m.
