The Frankfurt-based spirits brand Hippmanns.de has presented the Struwwelpeter Museum with a donation of 1,000 euros. The sum comes from the sale of Struwwelpeter Gin, a special edition created in cooperation with the museum. For every bottle sold, a fixed amount goes towards the cultural work of the museum, which is dedicated to preserving Heinrich Hoffmann's world-famous children's book classic.
Holger Hippmann, initiator of the project and known as "De Hippi", was delighted with the positive response: "Our aim was to capture a piece of Frankfurt culture in a special spirit and at the same time give something back to the museum. With this first donation, we are setting an example for long-term commitment."
The museum also appreciates the creative cooperation: "We are delighted with the support. Every purchase of Struwwelpeter Gin helps to keep the legacy of Heinrich Hoffmann alive."
The Struwwelpeter Gin is a tribute to the famous work, combining classic London Dry Gin notes with an eye-catching design inspired by the iconic Struwwelpeter design. The success of the product is also thanks to regional retailers, who have enthusiastically included the spirit in their range.
The partnership between Hippmanns.de and the museum is set to continue. A portion of the sales proceeds will continue to benefit the Struwwelpeter Museum in the future in order to support its cultural work in the long term.
