Live music, mulled apple, bonfire and organic stick bread

It's that time of year: the apple raclette season of the "Obsthof am Steinberg" opens again. On Saturday 29.10.2016 Andreas Schneider and his team will spoil their guests in the Schoppenwirtschaft brightly lit with candles and decorated Christmas-like with fir greenery, colorful apples, natural straw stars as well as discreet fairy lights with mulled apple, varietal apple sparkling wine, organic snacks, bonfire with stick bread and of course with the star of the winter - the fruity-spicy apple raclette.

To welcome guests to the Pagoda at 6pm, they will receive a mulled apple - hot apple cider with spices and orange zest or non-alcoholic apple juice based with cinnamon. The organic vesper breads form the right basis for the feast to come. Afterwards, Schneiders invite guests to the table: each guest receives a glass of pure vintage apple sparkling wine of the variety "Goldparmäne" - grown on the vineyard "Am Steinberg". At 7 pm the live music of the group ""Schillings" will start. They will frame the evening with a diverse mixture of blues, jazz and Irish folk. During the apple raclette that follows, what belongs together merges in a wonderful way: the fruity aromas of the historic apple varieties of the ""Obsthof am Steinberg" with the spicy cheese of selected organic provenances. Andreas Schneider recommends his single-variety ciders from the historic varieties to go with it: Goldparmäne, Schöner von Boskoop, Carpentin, Graue Renette, Geheimrat Oldenburg and others. And for a good finish, homemade organic waffles with varietal apple sauce can be celebrated with exquisite brandies made from organic apples and the rare Speierling fruit.

The price includes a set table with raclette utensil(s), glasses, plates, cutlery and napkins, as well as the following organic ingredients: Raclette cheese, jacket potatoes, bread, corn, silver onions, pickles, fresh chopped onions and apples for stewing. Free of charge, guests bring additional side dishes such as ham, vegetables, pineapple, etc.... For this, the orchard simply asks for notification in advance. As a non-alcoholic alternative, in-house organic juices made from apple, pear and quince will be served. Children from 0-5 years participate free of charge. Children aged 6-11 and those with a disabled pass pay half price (50%). Booking price 24,50<x>Ampersand</x>euro;/person.
